Description
Browning Citori 825 Field Features
The Browning Citori 825 Field relies on the proven full-width hinge pin and tapered locking lug design that has defined Citori shotguns since the original B25 Superposed, delivering the strength and durability to outlast a lifetime of hunting seasons. Its low-profile receiver lowers the bore line and brings the barrels closer in line with the shoulder, which reduces felt recoil and muzzle jump while making follow-up shots faster and more controlled. New engraving artwork and refined styling on the receiver give the 825 Field a distinctive, modern look that still carries the classic Browning silhouette. Three included choke tubes in Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified configurations let hunters tailor pattern density to the game and cover they are working.
Ergonomic refinements throughout the 825 Field improve the shooter interface, including a redesigned safety and selector switch that is easier to operate and a more ergonomic top lever that blends with the new receiver styling. The enhanced Fire Lite 2 mechanical trigger builds on the Citori 725 platform with lighter, more consistent pull weights and improved reliability with light target loads. An Inflex II recoil pad combines soft material with internal ribbing that directs the comb down and away from the face, reducing felt recoil while a smooth heel prevents snagging when mounting the gun. Together with the fixed Grade II/III American walnut stock, these features make the Citori 825 Field a comfortable, fast-swinging companion for a full day in the uplands.
