CVA Scout XP Features
The CVA Scout XP pistol is built around a single-shot break-open action that keeps the platform simple and reliable, with an internal hammer firing system and a two-position safety for straightforward, confident operation. The 11.5" medium sporter fluted barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and cut with a 1:8" twist rate to stabilize the .338 ARC cartridge&##39;s bullet weights, while the fluting sheds barrel weight without sacrificing rigidity. This compact, maneuverable format makes the Scout XP easy to handle in tight spaces while still delivering the reach of a rifle cartridge.
A pistol grip replaces a traditional stock for improved one-handed and two-handed control, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a 0 MOA rail for mounting a red dot or scope directly to the action. The graphite black finish gives the pistol a clean, purposeful look while resisting wear from field use. Being suppressor ready, the Scout XP is built to pair with a can for reduced recoil and report, a popular setup for the .338 ARC cartridge. The CVA Scout XP in .338 ARC gives shooters a compact, modular single-shot platform ready for optics and suppressor use right out of the box.
