Description
Leupolds Standard 1Piece base is constructed of steel. The forward part of the base accepts a dovetail ring, locking it solidly into position. This model is compatible with Savage 1016 right handed short action rifles with rounded rear receiver. It has a black matte finish.
The Leupold steel standard bases and rings are the most versatile of any mounting system we offer. The rear ring is secured by windage adjustment screws, allowing the scopes internal adjustments to be reserved for precise sightin. Additionally, shims can be used for gross elevation adjustment, reserving the scopes elevation adjustment for bullet drop compensation dial applications.
